Notes:

Fees for Probationary Membership and Full Membership are the same.

Membership runs from January to December and is £64 (for 2025).

The membership fee includes BCA (British Caving Association) membership. This is important to cover the insurance requirements of using many UK caves.

Keys and entry fob for the cottage are usually issued when you are accepted as a member and attend a weekend meet. (the weekend of the first friday of each month). Keys are not posted.

There are 2 electronic options, both cost £6.00

a) credit card size to keep in a wallet.

b) 3cm diam key ring fob.

If you join in any month other than January to March the membership fee is reduced, pro-rata, to cover the remaining months.

If you have paid £15 Kit Hire, this is refundable against your full membership fee.

Pro-Rata MCG Membership fees for 2025 will be found in our Rules and are repeated below for convenience.

Pro-Rata British Caving Association (BCA) Membership fees for 2025 will be found on the BCA website. See https://british-caving.org.uk/membership/individual-membership/

Both MCG and BCA fees must be paid when joining MCG, unless you are already a BCA individual member or have BCA membership through another club. BCA membership provides public liability insurance. All MCG members must have BCA membership for the insurance to be valid.
