Craig-a-Ffynnon, Daren Cilau

MCG hold an MLCMAC key for the use of MCG members who are insured by the BCA scheme for 'responsible' amateur caving activities.  The key fits OCAF and the Ogof Cnwc "dry" entrance into Daren Cilau.

The MLCMAC advises the landowner, Beaufort Estate, on caving matters and it has been agreed to continue with CCW/NRW's former access scheme much as it was but without any annual or other permit paperwork now.  The landowner expects their guests to judge what is responsible for themselves, but at the very least it means not causing damage to the cave or wildlife in or near it.

There are some rules on MLCMAC page:

https://cambriancavingcouncil.org.uk/MLCMAC.html

Craig a Ffynnon needs the logbook in cave entrance signing on entrance and exit of the cave and the maximum group size is 8.

There are no specific rules for Daren Cilau because the original wet entrance has never been gated, but please use common sense by applying the OCAF rules there.  Aggy has a different key because we have a fair stock of locks/keys inherited from NRW.
